My name is Eunice Mae B. Cruz and i am college nursing srudent..
As you can see on the picture is a almost decaying foot.. and that foot belongs to my beloved father who is suffering because of the complications of his diabetes.
Last nov. 15 , 2005 He undergone kidney transplant and before that he undergone 2 years of dialysis in NKTI (National Kidney Transplant Institute)
A wound developed on his right big toe which resulted to the amputation of his foot below the knee last March 2007 and the amputated stump did not heal and resulted to another amputation of his leg above the knee still on his right foot July of the same year and it healed thank goodness.
May 2010 he developed yet another wound on his big toe on the left foot and it was amputated again same month and year. As u can see on the picture that’s his left foot.
The fingertoes are starting to die… and it cause my father sleepless nights and He can’t do anything about the pain but just cry. My mom is jobless and my father is obviously not in a good shape to have a job.
My siblings and i was able to study due to sponsorship.
Apparently money is needed to aid him fast.
